Dear Supporters,
After much prayer and discussion this letter is to inform you that Michelle and I are moving on from our ministry at LeTourneau. We have come to this conclusion after much time in prayer and wise counsel. We have been extremely blessed to see God work over the last 6 years and we feel that God called us here to do His work. He is now asking us to move on and have a different focus in our lives.
This ministry is still extremely necessary in New York. I believe that the Lord’s will for camp is to grow in the future and strengthen its impact on the church families. Your support of this ministry is crucial for its success in the service to our guests.
I have been extremely blessed to get to know and work closely with the groups and donors over the last 6 years. Please come alongside us in prayer as we are starting a new chapter in our lives and are allowing God to direct us in the direction we must go.
Continue to pray for camp’s staff and leadership as they search out the best match for the position. Please keep our family in your prayers as we focus on growing closer as a Christian family. Please hold the summer staff in your hearts as they are growing in the Lord this summer and this news is giving them an opportunity to strengthen their trust in God.
As Proverbs 16:9 states, “The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.” We had in our minds to stay here longer but He is directing us on. Please be excited with us as we seek to follow His will.
