WHO IS CHERI TAYLOR?

For the past 40 years, Cheri has faithfully followed the path that God has set for her in ministry.  Blessed with a dynamic singing voice and an exciting stage presence, Cheri delights in leveraging gospel music to present the Word of God to audiences attending her concerts and special events. Before becoming a solo performer and recording artist, she traveled with a local gospel group based near her hometown.

As a soloist, Cheri has won three gospel talent searches and has just released a new recording, Sing Hallelujah. Cheri is speaks on a wide range of Christ-centered topics and when she’s not actively engaged in her ministry efforts, she is heavily involved in service with her local church. Her husband Greg, works alongside of her in every phase of her ministry, whether at home or on the road.

“Greg has been so supportive of me”, Cheri said. “Even through times of discouragement, he’s been there, cheering me on.”

Cheri and Greg have two children, Heather and Philip, and four delightful grandchildren, she says, describing them as “beautiful, talented and I’m always anticipating how the Lord will use them for His glory”.

In the past few years Cheri has been part of a mission team that ministers in Jamaica.

“It’s hard to see the poverty and need there,” she says, “but at the same time, I’m so grateful for the opportunity that God has given me to make a difference in the lives of these precious people.”
